Agrobs green oats belong to the grass family and are harvested shortly after flowering. This produces a concentrated feed rich in crude fibre with a low starch content.
Oats with a difference...
Horses that are fed cereal-based concentrates are often over-supplied with starch. Agrob's green oats are harvested shortly after flowering - before the starch is incorporated into the grain. This means that the crude fibre content outweighs the starch content.
Green oats are known for their positive properties: It stimulates the metabolism, it helps to regulate digestion and strengthens the body's defences. Green oats contain a balanced calcium-phosphorus ratio and provide a variety of natural vital substances.
Thanks to Agrobs' gentle warm-air drying process, green oats are free from moulds and bacteria and are therefore also suitable for allergic and sensitive horses. Green oats are used to enhance the basic feed ration. The tasty fibres are particularly popular and promote slower feed intake.
