Sensitiv Plus is a roughage or staple feed made from selected, low-protein grasses that also provides sufficient crude fibre to meet the requirements of sensitive small ruminants. The high structural content in Sensitiv Plus ensures an optimum roughage supply and has a positive effect on digestion. Thanks to its reduced protein content, Sensitiv Plus is a suitable alternative to conventional staple or manger feed, especially for animals with kidney problems or a tendency to form urinary stones. Thanks to the native, low copper content, Sensitiv Plus can also be fed to sheep on a permanent basis without hesitation. The structure satisfies the animals' need to chew and re-chew, promotes saliva formation and thus supports the natural rumen flora. For older animals or animals with dental problems, the pellets softened with water can be used as a basic feed substitute.
In general, Sensitiv Plus can be recommended to all small ruminants - especially in hobby animal husbandry.
