Marstall Gastro-Muesli has been specially developed for horses with sensitive stomachs or stomach problems according to the latest scientific findings. Molasses-free! Even tense and lean horses benefit from this unique, grain-free and stomach acid buffering muesli. Even fussy horses really like the Gastro Muesli. Allgäu hay fibres and Timothee chaff ensure a high structural content. The fibres increase salivation and the number of chews. The saliva and the added bicarbonate buffer the stomach acid. Extreme acidity in the stomach is counteracted by the grain- and molasses-free formula. Grape marc contains anti-inflammatory polyphenols, antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids support this effect. Mannan oligosaccharides and ß-glucans positively support a healthy gastrointestinal environment by promoting the natural biofilm on the intestinal mucosa, strengthening the immune system and binding mycotoxins. They also have a prebiotic effect. The high content of small intestine-digestible crude protein helps thin horses to gain weight. Stress and stomach problems often occur together. That is why Marstall Gastro Muesli is particularly rich in magnesium. This also helps to relax the muscles.

For hasty eaters, horses with feed envy, dental problems etc. we recommend feeding Gastro-Muesli soaked(e.g. 1 litre Gastro-Muesli + 1 litre warm or cold water, leave to infuse for 15 minutes).

Due to the higher content of trace elements and vitamin D3 compared to complete feeds, this supplementary feed for horses may only be fed in accordance with the recommendations given here! Please follow the ration recommendations in order to provide your horses with the best possible feed for the situation. All the feed quantities mentioned should be fed in at least 2 partial rations throughout the day. The Marstall recommendations are based on a roughage content (hay) of 1.5 kg per 100 kg live weight per day.
