Pavo foal milk is used when the mother mare produces too little milk or the foal is motherless. The foal's needs are met! Mare's milk has a special composition with a high sugar content, which differs greatly from cow's milk. For this reason, cow's milk is not suitable for foals. Pavo foal milk is very similar to mare's milk and covers the needs of the (motherless) foal. Foals reared on Pavo foal milk do not show any deficits compared to foals reared on their mother's milk, but develop normally, as it were.

Do not mix more foal milk than will be consumed within half a day.
The foal milk that has already been mixed is best warmed up in a water bath or kept warm. This prevents flocculation or burning.

Preparation of 1 litre of foal milk:
(1 litre = 1000 ml) Take a container with a capacity of at least 1 litre.
Fill it with 300 ml of cold water.
Top this up with 400 ml boiling water. You now have 700 ml of water with a temperature of ± 60 °C.
Add one measuring spoon (= 100 g) of Pavo Foal Milk and stir until everything is dissolved.
Then add 300 ml of cold water while continuing to stir. You now have 1 litre of lukewarm foal milk. (temperature of ± 40 °C)
