With its golden-yellow straw fibres, No. 20 Sonnenberg is an absolute speciality among mueslis rich in crude fibre. No. 20 Sonnenberg is suitable for horses that require an additional, particularly high-quality supply of crude fibre in their manger feed. This is the case, for example, if there is no straw available due to pure shavings bedding or if poor quality hay has to be accepted.
The delicate supply of chopped straw is reminiscent of the feeding of horses at the turn of the last century. Straw is an interesting source of minerals and promotes healthy intestinal flora thanks to lignocellulose. The horse is stimulated to chew better.
No. 20 Sonnenberg is free from any flavourings, preservatives or additives and free from binding agents or synthetic additives. This benefits highly sensitive horses that are prone to liver problems, mastitis, EMS, Cushing's disease or laminitis. The grain content is moderate at 20%. The proportion of maize is higher than that of barley. The proportion of sunflower seeds as a supplier of oils and high-quality amino acids is 5%. The composition is very low in protein, which benefits horses with kidney sensitivities.
