St. Hippolyt Brandon XL is a low-glycaemic, grain- and molasses-free manger feed for horses with a sensitive gastrointestinal tract. Brandon XL has a moderate energy content. The glycaemic index has been reduced even further by using sprouted grains instead of cereals. Brandon XL is particularly beneficial for horses whose diet must be low in easily digestible carbohydrates. Valuable oilseeds provide vital substances and antioxidants such as omega-3 fatty acids, which have an insulin-regulating effect. Bran also helps to stabilise insulin function.
We generally recommend soaking the feed for hasty eaters, gulping horses or horses with food envy!
