When mares overreact
Hormonal imbalances in mares and extreme macho behaviour in stallions can lead to the horse becoming unrideable. In mares, this is manifested by holding on while riding, tail slapping, walking against the thigh and bad temper. In stallions, masculine behaviour such as aggression, rebelliousness and loss of concentration can occur. Nutrient imbalances and the lack of opportunity to ingest detoxifying and harmonising herbs from nature can make it difficult to deal with cocky stallions. If the problem is not hormonal, muscle tension, nutrient deficiencies, blockages and ill-fitting saddles may be the cause.
No. 22 Bitch war
harmonises the feed ration with valuable traditional food herbs such as Vitex agnus castus (monk's pepper), yam, lady's mantle and milk thistle.
Bitchiness in mares should not be a permanent condition. In almost 80% of cases, this is due to prolonged nutrient deficiencies that cause tension and blockages, including in the ovaries. We therefore strongly recommend that the mare's nutritional status be properly checked. A balanced mineralisation with No. 1 Everything Flows, preferably in combination with Mn Manganese together with No. 22 Bitch War often leads to a lasting solution to the problem.
