Product information "Agrobs Alpenheu 12,5kg"
Agrobs Alpine hay comes from the meadows of the Bavarian Alpine foothills. The calcareous soil and the high altitude provide an ideal location for the growth of species-rich meadows with a high proportion of herbs.
Agrobs Alpine hay is harvested at the right cutting height at the ideal cutting time. The vegetation determines the time of cutting and this is between the end of the grass flowering and the start of seed formation. The desired high crude fibre content for horses and simultaneously low protein and fructan content is achieved.
After harvesting, the grasses and herbs are gently dried with warm air and mixed with sun-dried hay and dedusted. This produces high-quality, dust-free Agrobs Alpine hay. A lot of native minerals, trace elements and vitamins make Agrobs Alpine hay particularly tasty.
Regular inspections of the harvested areas are crucial for the high quality of Agrobs Alpine hay. At least once a year, the plant population, the soil conditions and the care of the land are checked.
Ideal for travelling, as Agrobs Alpine hay is easy to transport. Packed in recyclable film.
