Agrobs Kräutermix offers a selected mixture of meadow herbs.
The health of the animals can be promoted by the natural mineral content of the herbs and their flavouring, healing and active ingredients. Agrobs Kräutermix also gives the feed a very good flavour.
Agrobs Kräutermix is particularly suitable for two areas of application: The seed can be applied to horse pastures as an admixture to grass seed or used specifically to enhance existing pasture areas.
Meadow knapweed, meadow caraway, ribwort plantain, wild carrot, chicory, fennel
Care tips: adapted, moderate fertilisation
Sowing rates: 1 - 2 kg / ha
Sowing time: early spring or autumn (early October); clean cut at a first growth height of 15-20 cm
Sowing depth: approx. 1 cm
Lifespan: perennial (up to 6 years)
Basic use and care tips:
● Alternate between cutting and grazing
● No overgrazing, no grazing on wet pastures
● Timely paddock rotations (short feeding times, long rest periods for a stable sward)
● Sward should never be shorter than 5 - 6 cm
● Pasture maintenance in spring (dragging, rolling if necessary)
● Mowing after grazing
● Re-seed trampling damage and patchy stands
