Magnesium is a vital mineral that supports numerous bodily functions. Magnesium plays a key role in nerve and muscle tissue, bone health and the regulation of the cardiovascular system. A deficiency can manifest itself in restlessness, nervousness, increased irritability or muscular tension. A lack of suppleness and reduced willingness to perform can also be the result.
MAGNESIUM PUR from AGROBS® offers the ideal support to prevent or compensate for a magnesium deficiency. Whether for sport or leisure - MAGNESIUM PUR promotes muscle relaxation, nerve strength and mineralisation of the bones so that the horse can develop its full potential.
The triple complex combines three sources of magnesium for the best possible supply:
- Magnesium citrate and magnesium glycinate are available to the horse as quickly available, organically bound magnesium suppliers - e.g. during physical exertion in training and at competitions, increased sweating or acute stress situations.
- Magnesium oxide, on the other hand, is absorbed more slowly and ensures a long-term build-up of the body's magnesium reserves.
Thanks to this well thought-out combination, the horse's body can access the right source of magnesium as required. The optimally balanced mixture also ensures increased absorption in the intestine.
The grain- and molasses-free recipe is based on warm air-dried meadow grasses and herbs, as well as linseed. These ingredients are not only healthy, but also particularly tasty, so that even fussy horses are happy to eat MAGNESIUM PUR. In addition to its high level of acceptance, the practical pelletised form makes it easier to dose and use in everyday life. The product is ADMR-compliant and is also suitable during the competition season to strengthen the willingness to perform and the well-being of the sport horse.

When feeding higher quantities (from 10 g/100 kg bw), we recommend dividing the daily dose into two feedings.
- Large horses: 30 g daily (600 kg bw)
- Small horses: 20 g daily (400 kg bw)

Due to the higher magnesium content compared to complete feeds, this supplementary feed may only be administered in accordance with the feeding recommendations.
