"You are what you eat" - this old folk wisdom has been one of the driving principles of the Kanne-Brottrunk company, which produces the traditional drink Original Bio-Kanne-Brottrunk®, for over 35 years. This emphasises the close connection between the type of food we eat and our mental, spiritual and physical constitution.
Using traditional craftsmanship, a high-quality organic bread is baked according to an unchanged recipe and the Brottrunk® is produced using a fermentation process developed by Wilhelm Kanne Senior. Pure and nutritious ingredients that fulfil the high requirements of certified organic food are used.
Brottrunk® is characterised by its composition of pure and natural ingredients. Minerals, trace elements, a variety of vitamins and amino acids support the functionality of the cell. The lactic acid-producing bacteria in the intestine help with the digestive process.
In addition to the water from our own source, the exclusively plant-based ingredients of Brottrunk® are also of great benefit to a purely vegetarian and vegan diet. The Bread Drink also helps to cover part of the daily requirement of vital vitamin B12.
"In harmony with nature" is another important guiding principle in the production of Brottrunk® and influences the sustainable approach to production.
