DOSKAR 4 EQUI Vitamin E & Selenium Liquid has a positive effect on the oxygen supply to muscle cells and ensures healthy muscle development.
Vitamin E is an essential antioxidant that cannot be produced by the body and helps to protect cells from the damaging effects of free radicals. These free radicals are produced as by-products of normal metabolism and can be increased in horses, especially sport horses, as a result of intensive physical activity.
In feeding, vitamin E is particularly essential for horses that receive little fresh grass (e.g. in winter). Although hay contains vitamin E, the content drops sharply after storage. It therefore makes sense to provide vitamin E via supplementary feed, especially for sport horses, broodmares or older horses, in order to prevent deficiency symptoms.
