Magnesium is the second most abundant mineral in the horse's body. It influences muscle contraction, is involved in enzymatic metabolism and therefore also influences the performance of our horses. Muscle relaxation and muscle development are only possible with sufficient magnesium.
It also helps to improve mental resilience and has a positive effect on the horse's nervous system. As it cannot be produced by the body itself, magnesium must be added to the feed to cover the basic requirement.
During physical exertion, such as training phases, coat changes or stressful situations, the magnesium requirement also increases.
