Farrier's Finish® is a hoof care product for horses that offers good hoof protection, especially in dry or damp conditions. It contains ingredients that can have a positive influence on the health and elasticity of the hooves. This applies in particular to the combination of tea tree oil, iodine and yucca extract.
Tea tree oil is an essential oil consisting of around 100 different substances. This mixture is known to have a strong antimicrobial and antifungal effect. It is often used in cosmetic products for skin care. It is also used for external application in animal care. In combination with iodine, it protects the hoof wall and sole of horses, among other things. It forms a moisture barrier in wet weather. Moisture can no longer easily penetrate the hooves through cracks, crevices and injuries. In dry weather, it keeps the hooves elastic by coming into direct contact with the hoof walls in the cracks and crevices.
Another relevant ingredient in Farrier's Finish® is yucca extract. It contains ingredients that can bind ammonia from faeces and urine. This can greatly reduce the destructive effect of ammonia.
For use on the hoof, for example for cracks, splits and nail holes.
Shake well before use!
Clean and dry hooves well before use. Leave Farrier's Finish to work for several minutes.
For existing hoof problems: Please treat the entire hoof (coronet band, wall, sole and frog) daily with Farrier's Finish. In particular, brush the area of the white line between sole and hoof edge and affected areas.
