A vitamin, mineralised, structure-rich, cereal and molasses-free special concentrated feed, suitable for leisure, breeding and sport horses as a daily roughage ration. The high proportion of high-quality roughage (compact grass, grass flakes, lucerne) of more than 50% helps to stimulate intensive chewing activity. Increased saliva production acts as a natural acid buffer to support a balanced acid-base equilibrium in the gastrointestinal tract. Extruded linseed improves stomach and intestinal health, while the high content of omega-3 fatty acids helps to minimise inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract. Apple pomace, carob and the special standardised yeast derivative from Saccharomyces cerevisiae (Agrimos) provide a prebiotic effect, which promotes a balanced intestinal microflora. Agrimos contains a combination with a guaranteed content of mannan oligosaccharides and ß-glucans to support and relieve the immune system as well as binding and inactivating pathogens and toxins in the intestine. Agrimos helps horses to reach their performance potential and contributes to strengthening their resistance during stressful phases such as training or breeding. The very low starch and sugar content (9%) make the supplementary feed metabolically friendly and highly digestible. It is suitable for feeding convalescent horses and senior horses as well as those with cereal intolerances and carbohydrate metabolism disorders such as EMS, Cushing's, PSSM and laminitis.
