Hartog has developed a roughage mix that can optimise the horse's stomach and intestinal health. The Lucerne Mix Digest is enriched with POWERSTART®. This special mixture with natural microelements is combined with acid buffers, prebiotics and yeast cultures. POWERSTART® can protect the stomach and intestinal wall from pathogenic bacteria and regenerate wounds and damage to the mucous membrane so that nutrients are better absorbed. The acid buffers positively influence the acidity in the gastrointestinal tract and the yeast and prebiotics support the growth and development of a healthy population of microorganisms in the gut. Luzernemix Digest is particularly suitable for horses of all ages, breeds, disciplines and levels, for horses that are sensitive to stress, for horses with stomach and/or intestinal problems and to enhance the roughage ration.
