The thrush oil should be applied daily until the frog has completely regenerated. In any case, the frog should be oiled over a large area. If the thrush is very deep, we also recommend using compresses. We prefer to use these cloths here.

Then continue to oil the hoof daily until the frog is completely closed. If the hooves are very dirty, please brush them off first - do not wash them - as this could cause bacteria to multiply again. If possible, do not wash them.

It is only when the frog dries out that you can see how deep the thrush really is, so please don't be alarmed if you have the feeling that the furrows look deeper after a few days.
