Josera Help Skin & Hair Balancer is the ideal mineral supplement for horses with sensitive skin or during the moulting season. The formula has been developed in line with the latest nutritional research and is free from alfalfa, soya, cereals and molasses, and contains no added sugar – making it ideal for horses with a sensitive metabolism too. The balanced combination of organic sulphur (MSM), brewer’s yeast, B vitamins, copper, zinc, antioxidants and selected herbs contributes to an optimal supply of trace elements and supports skin function from within. This promotes the skin’s natural balance, supports coat growth and stabilises the quality of the hooves.

MSM – organic sulphur
MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) is a highly bioavailable source of sulphur that occurs naturally in plants and contributes to the formation of keratin, collagen and connective tissue structures. An adequate supply of sulphur supports a resilient skin barrier, a glossy coat and can contribute to strong hooves.

Brewer’s yeast & B vitamins
Brewer’s yeast is a natural product derived from the fermentation of brewer’s yeast cells and contains numerous B vitamins, amino acids and trace elements that support the natural gut flora and, consequently, metabolism. By promoting a stable gut flora, nutrient utilisation can be improved and the bioavailability of key nutrients increased. In this way, brewer’s yeast can contribute, from a nutritional perspective, to maintaining healthy skin, a glossy coat and sound horn quality.

The carefully selected combination of various plant extracts from apples, grapes and oregano (Josera EquiFlavin®) contains numerous secondary metabolites, including flavonoids.
