Keralit Hoof Strengthener helps directly on the hoof edge, sole and white line.
Keralit Hoof Strengthener strengthens the horn and makes it much more durable. After just two weeks of use, you will notice a slightly shinier appearance of the horn in these areas as well as a firmer sound of the hooves on hard ground. The horn abrasion of bare hoofed horses is greatly reduced. The bearing edge, sole and white line become much firmer and more resilient. The shoes of shod horses sit more firmly and the hoof is protected.
The use of Keralit Hoof Strengthener greatly reduces the harmful effects of microorganisms, such as those that cause white line disease (WLD), as the horn becomes indigestible for the microorganisms responsible. This is particularly important for horn that is already damaged. Here, horn substance that is still usable is stabilised and further damage is prevented. In addition, regular treatment can help to strengthen the sole of the horse's hoof and thus further increase its resilience.
Ideal for:
- barehoofed horses to strengthen the bearing edge, sole and white line
- the reduction of horn abrasion in horses with insufficient horn growth and poorer horn quality
- shod horses with loose shoes
- cracked horn walls to preserve horn substance and horn capsule
- sensitive horses as a replacement for horseshoes

The Keralit hoof conditioner is applied to the hoof with the enclosed bristle brush. For barehoofed horses, it is applied from below to the bearing edge, the white line and, if the horse is sensitive, also to the sole. Brush in from the side approx. ¼ to ⅓ of the hoof wall height.
For shod horses, brush the hoof wall up to and including the nail holes. The hoof strengthener should be able to penetrate into the old nail holes in particular and run under the shoe. The sole of the hoof can also be treated if necessary. This can replace the use of insoles and leather soles and helps to strengthen the sole of the horse's hoof.
Treatment is usually carried out 1 to 2 times a week. In the case of severe horn decomposition or wet weather, the hoof strengthener can also be used 3 to 4 times a week. 250ml bottle, sufficient for approx. 3 to 4 months (warm blood, bare hoof). For shod horses up to 6 months.
The hoof strengthener can also be used on damp horn without any problems. However, the horn's absorption capacity is then limited, so that more frequent application, but with less hoof strengthener, is advisable. Application to soaking wet or freshly greased hooves is less advisable.
