Product information "Marstall Faser light 15kg"
Low-energy, grain-free muesli
Tailored to the needs of horses with a light appetite, marstall Fibre-Light contains neither cereals nor molasses and is therefore very low in starch and sugar. This keeps insulin levels low and helps to feed horses in a way that is gentle on their metabolism.
Faser-Light is a low-energy muesli for horses that are light eaters and do little or no work.
High-quality fibre, soft timothy chaff and hay from Allgäu meadows are the hallmarks of our low-energy muesli. This is important for satisfying your horse’s need to chew and, by stimulating increased saliva production, helps to buffer stomach acid. Thanks to the gut-friendly fibre blend, this structural feed has a prebiotic effect: as the various fibre fractions are digested by microbes in the large intestine, valuable nutrients are produced that benefit the gut and support a healthy metabolism. These nourish the gut cells and provide your four-legged friend with energy without putting strain on blood sugar levels or the insulin system
Perfect for daily, calorie-reduced feeding: we’ve packed all the essential minerals, trace elements and vitamins into our Fibre-Light. In a mixed herd of horses, our muesli also helps prevent competition for food, as even horses with a light appetite get something in their trough and, thanks to the texture, have to chew for longer.
