Product information "marstall MyoCare Muesli"
marstall MyoCare is a concentrated feed for the special nutrition of horses with PSSM 1, PSSM 2 and RER. The current scientific findings and recommendations have been taken into account. The muesli therefore contains little starch and sugar, but has a high content of small intestine-digestible protein and plenty of vitamin E plus manganese, selenium and oil. In this way, marstall MyoCare makes an important contribution to the well-being of horses with hereditary muscle problems.

For affected horses, a high content of small intestine-digestible proteins is important so that they do not suffer from a protein deficit. marstall MyoCare contains a mix of high-quality native protein and amino acids in pure form. The protein sources are flax and peas (soya has been deliberately omitted). For the amino acids in pure form, marstall relies on its tried and tested combination of lysine, threonine, SAS (methionine + cysteine) and valine.
The antioxidants vitamin E, vitamin C and selenium are also extremely important for optimum muscle function and to protect the muscle cells from free radicals. In addition, horses affected by PSSM 1, PSSM 2 and RER require increased amounts of trace elements such as manganese as well as B vitamins and magnesium. For optimum availability, the trace elements are contained in organic form, among other things. Magnesium also provides targeted support for muscle tension and calms the nerves.
An illness always means stress for the organism, which can quickly affect the stomach. The structure-rich marstall MyoCare stimulates the flow of saliva when chewing. Together with the sodium bicarbonate it contains, this buffers the stomach acid. Polyphenols and stomach-friendly energy in the form of linseed thistle oil (rich in omega-3 fatty acids) also make a valuable contribution.
A healthy stomach and intestines are essential for the body to absorb the nutrients contained in the food in the best possible way. This is where the mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) and ß-glucans come into play, which also support the immune system. As the grain-free recipe of marstall MyoCare contains no added sugar and no lucerne, it is also gentle on the metabolism and stomach.

We recommend feeding MyoCare soaked for hasty eaters, horses with feed envy, dental problems etc.. For example, add 1 litre of MyoCare to 1 litre of warm or cold water and leave to infuse for approx. 15 minutes.

Due to the higher content of trace elements and vitamin D3 compared to complete feed, this supplementary feed for horses may only be fed in accordance with the recommendations given here! Please follow the ration recommendations in order to provide your horses with the best possible feed for the situation.
Our recommendations are based on a roughage content (hay) of 1.50 kg per 100 kg live weight per day. All the feed quantities mentioned should be distributed over the day in at least 2 partial rations.
