A stress reaction in your horse's body is influenced by signalling substances. These are sent either towards or away from the brain. Basically, these signalling substances can send two messages: a stress message and a relaxation message. Increased amounts of stress messages lead to an increased heart and breathing rate, sweating and muscle tension. If, on the other hand, the proportion of relaxation messages increases, the heart rate and breathing rate return to normal and the muscles become relaxed and supple. In stressful situations, the body ensures that the stress messages increase and the relaxation messages decrease. As a result, your horse is more alert and more willing to escape. It therefore experiences stress. Pavo BeChill blocks the body's own mechanism for reducing relaxation messages and limits the increase in stress messages. Pavo BeChill therefore influences both messages and is therefore very effective in helping to quickly reduce stress in your horse.

Lemon balm is a natural ingredient and blocks the breakdown of relaxation messages so that stress is reduced. This increases the influence of the relaxation messages, which normalises the heart and breathing rate and relaxes the muscles. Lemon balm is an effective ingredient. Even small amounts have a great effect on your horse's stress response.
Magnesium helps to block the production of stress messages. This means that the body receives fewer signals that cause your horse to increase its heart and breathing rate, sweat and tense its muscles. It has also been proven that the concentration of cortisol (stress hormone) is significantly lower after feeding magnesium. Pavo BeChill can be administered orally (30 minutes to 2 hours before a stressful situation) or via feed or water (in the evening and morning before the stressful situation).
Ponies: 10 - 40 ml
Small horses (400 - 550 kg): 20 - 50 ml
Large horses (600 - 750 kg): 30 - 60 ml
