Pavo Podo®Junior Muesli is optimally tailored to the needs of foals and young horses and promotes healthy bone growth, which is also crucial for your horse's future performance potential.
Foals grow enormously, especially in their first year. Growth is positive as long as it occurs at a steady and good pace. If a young horse grows too quickly or too irregularly, there is a greater risk that bone development will be disrupted. This also increases the likelihood of joint problems developing.
Energy and protein are essential for the healthy growth of young horses. Pavo Podo®Junior provides your horse with energy from a mixture of fats, fibres and puffed grain. The energy is released slowly so that it is available to your horse evenly over a longer period of time. In addition, Pavo Podo®Junior provides your horse with sufficient protein, which contributes to healthy muscle development.
Pavo Podo®Junior is rich in fibre and therefore also promotes healthy digestion. The high fibre content slows down feed intake and stimulates chewing. Increased chewing activity increases saliva production, which helps to reduce acidity in the stomach. Did you know that not all raw fibres are suitable for young horses? Lucerne chaff, for example, can be harmful to the sensitive stomach wall of young horses. For this reason, the lucerne in Pavo Podo®Junior has been pressed into a pellet. This allows this valuable ingredient to be used without the risk of damaging the stomach. The other raw materials in Pavo Podo®Junior have also been carefully selected to provide the benefits of fibre without compromising health.
