Healthy development and growth are crucial for the future health and performance of your horse. Feeding plays an important role in this and begins during the mare's pregnancy. With Pavo Podo®Lac Muesli, you can provide your mare with optimum nutrition in the final phase of pregnancy and during lactation - and thus ensure that all the important nutrients are passed on to the (unborn) foal.

Pavo Podo®Lac Muesli is enriched with copper and zinc, as the mare's milk normally contains too little of these trace elements to provide the foal with an adequate supply. These are essential nutrients for the foal to develop healthy bones, organs, digestive processes and a healthy coat. It is therefore very important to increase the supply of these nutrients in the last 3 months of pregnancy so that the unborn foal can build up a supply via the umbilical cord. After birth and during the first 3 months of life, this supply is then gradually available to the foal so that it can utilise it for its healthy development.

During the gestation and lactation period, your mare needs sufficient energy and protein. Pavo Podo®Lac Muesli contains a high proportion of energy from the unique and very valuable energy source rice bran, supplemented with soya oil and linseed oil. Soya flour and soya flakes have been added as a high-quality source of protein. The combination of the high fat and protein content ensures that your mare maintains a healthy body condition during pregnancy and lactation. The high proportion of high-quality proteins in Pavo Podo®Lac Muesli also promotes milk production and is therefore also important for the foal's good development.

Pavo Podo®Lac Muesli is also enriched with prebiotics, which support healthy digestion. The better all nutrients are digested, the more nutrients your mare can provide to the foal.
