BONE VITAL is a pelleted mineral feed supplemented with vitamins, which play an important role primarily for mares and foals. These include vitamins A, C, E, D3, K3, vitamin B complex, folic acid, biotin, iron, copper, manganese, zinc, cobalt and selenium, as well as calcium and phosphorus.

In mares, the need for calcium and phosphorus increases 1.5-fold in the last third of pregnancy, as they are required for the foal's skeletal development.
Lactating mares also need more calcium and phosphorus, as well as vitamin A and vitamin E to ensure that the foal is adequately supplied with milk.
An adequate supply of the trace element selenium is important for muscles and the heart. A selenium deficiency in the pregnant mare can lead to heart and skeletal changes in the foal.
The need for manganese should also be covered in order to support the development of bones, tendons and joints and thus the musculoskeletal system.
This mineral feed does not replace species-appropriate rearing with plenty of exercise and does not cover protein requirements.
