Product information "St Hippolyt Brandon XP 20kg"
St. Hippolyt Brandon XP is a sports muesli for horses with high performance requirements. Ideal as a follow-on feed after or as a combination feed with Brandon XL. The vast majority of the starch contained is resistant to small intestine fermentation (ß-glucosidic linkage) through a special processing procedure (lactofermentation) and thus stimulates the formation of energy-rich, short-chain fatty acids. This results in a steady supply of energy without high blood sugar fluctuations. Accordingly, the insulin response is also more moderate than with conventional concentrated feeds containing cereals. Lower heat and sweat production, reduced muscle lactate formation and improved stress tolerance are the result of low-glycaemic feeding. The Brandon XP recipe also contains high-fat ingredients (oilseeds) and energy sources that are digestible in the large intestine, resulting in a digestible energy of 13.5 MJ/kg. Brandon XP is suitable:
- For horses with increased performance requirements
- As a build-up feed
- As a follow-on feed after or as a combination feed with Brandon® xl for horses for which grain-free feeding is no longer necessary
Millet flakes, alfalfa chaff, beet fibre, maize germ, barley flakes, palatinose (β-gluc.), maize flakes, linseed/sunflower oil mixture cold-pressed, oilseed mixture (linseed, sunflower, black cumin), brewer's yeast, rice germ, apple pomace, wheat bran, calcium carbonate, salt, seaweed meal, apple balsamic vinegar
