Product information "St Hippolyt Hesta Mix light Energy 20kg"
St. Hippolyt Hesta Mix light energy was developed as a low-energy but vital substance-rich manger feed for very light-fed horse breeds with light work or maintenance requirements.
The success story
In 1998, a feeding trial at Hesta Borg Stud for special breeds developed into one of St. Hippolyt's up-and-coming feeding concepts for all horse breeds: Hesta Mix. With the help of examples from Icelandic horses, it was possible to recognise a connection between nutritional deficiencies and symptoms such as itching, eczema, immune disorders and psychological disorders. This was a ground-breaking finding in the optimisation of feed rations.
Deficiency symptoms have many effects
With a small amount of concentrated feed, many horses are already supplied with sufficient energy. However, the supply of vital substances can very often not be guaranteed with small quantities. Deficiency symptoms such as skin problems, allergies, weight loss, nervousness, inner restlessness, signs of wear and tear, susceptibility to infections, utilisation disorders, metabolic problems and hormonal disorders can have serious consequences.
Particularly high trace element content
The Hesta-Mix range is characterised by its high content of highly bioavailable micronutrients, so that even a small concentrate ration can be supplied with organically bound trace elements as required. Deficiencies can be quickly and reliably compensated for or prevented thanks to the reliable absorption via the intestine and the fact that they quickly reach the target organ.

As a supplement to the basic feed supply of roughage and/or pasture grass. From a quantity of approx. 100-150 g per 100 kg body weight and day, no additional mineral feed is necessary. The total amount should be distributed over several rations. For lower doses or supply deficits, St. Hippolyt recommends adding SemperMin or MicroVital.
