Mix approx. 70–200 g per 100 kg body weight with 1.5 to 2 times the amount of warm/hot water, and serve after approx. 15 minutes’ soaking time. It can also be prepared with cold water, in which case the soaking time increases to approx. 30 minutes. Feed 3–4 times a week as a rule; if necessary, a smaller amount can also be offered daily.
1 litre is equivalent to approx. 500 g
For older horses, hasty eaters or horses with dental, masticatory or oesophageal problems, we recommend enriching the muesli with water or switching from muesli to pelleted feed, soaking this in sufficient water and feeding it as a mash.
Please monitor your horse’s fluid intake.
