St. Hippolyt BrandonPlus Gastrobalsam supports the regeneration of the glandular mucous membrane of the digestive system. The main tasks of the intestine include not only the digestion, absorption and resorption of nutrients, but also the elimination of indigestible feed components and waste products from the organism. As the intestine is one of the few organs that is in direct contact with the environment, its immune system is of particular importance. Sea buckthorn is also known as the "lemon of the north" due to the tart flavour of its berries and its very high vitamin C content, which is several times higher than that of citrus fruits.
The macerate made from gently ground parts of the sea buckthorn plant is rich in valuable vitamins, minerals, fibre and fruit acids. The oil contained in the flesh of the sea buckthorn berries is particularly rich in carotenoids and polyunsaturated fatty acids. The immune system of the gastrointestinal tract and the regeneration of the glandular mucosa are supported by the unique mixture of sea buckthorn macerate, oil and extract. In combination with BrandonPlus gastrointestinal, BrandonPlus Gastrobalsam supports irritations of the gastrointestinal mucosa, especially in the area of the glandular mucosa of the gastric outlet and the intestine.
