St. Hippolyt Glyx-Wiese Wiesentaler are rich in herbs and consist of low-fructan grasses. Wiesentaler are suitable as a hay substitute or as a supplement to the roughage ration. Glyx-Wiese Wiesentaler are made from species-rich grasses and herbs from the Lake Constance region and are a natural product. The vital substances and nutrients are retained thanks to the extremely gentle harvesting and processing methods. Glyx-Wiese Wiesentaler are used as a daily supplement to the roughage supply of all horses - especially when feeding haylage and in poor hay quality - as well as for feeding lean horses. If Glyx-Wiese Wiesentaler is mixed with the manger feed, the number of chewing strokes is increased and salivation is stimulated. Glyx-Wiese Wiesentaler is particularly suitable as a complete or partial hay substitute for (old) horses with dental problems. High-quality crude fibre forms the basis of horse feeding. Wiesentaler offers a practical and time-saving alternative to hay cobs, as they have a much shorter soaking time. The low content of fines should not be forgotten, as the special manufacturing process means that only the fine structural fibre is used. This provides an ideal source of crude fibre for healthy intestinal flora. Colonic fermentation is activated and stimulated. Parts of the plant that are highly woody and therefore very rich in lignin are not processed.
