Product information "St. Hippolyt LinuStar 10kg"
St. Hippolyt LinuStar consists of a golden yellow, gently cracked linseed, protects the gastric mucosa and supports intestinal function. LinuStar contains swelling-active mucilage, which forms a protective film on the mucous membranes and contributes to their regeneration. This helps to prevent diet-related digestive disorders.
Brilliant appearance:
A healthy appearance is a sign of a horse's well-being. Symptoms of a nutrient deficiency can be brittle skin, dandruff, dry, brittle hooves and a dull, lustreless coat. In addition to a lack of trace elements, there is often also a lack of essential fatty acids. Skin and coat are naturally supported by the high concentration of omega-3 (a-linolenic acid) and omega-6 (linoleic acid) fatty acids in LinuStar.
Patented cracking process:
Cracking the linseed creates hair-thin cracks, which is why the linseed is still protected from oxidation and spoilage. On contact with liquids such as water or digestive secretions, the husk of the linseed swells. Mucilage and other nutrients are thus made available to the body.
Cooking the golden-yellow linseed before feeding is not necessary due to its low hydrocyanic acid content. Important ingredients of high value such as omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin E and mucilage are not destroyed as a result.
- Rich in high-quality mucilage and omega-3 fatty acids
- No grinding or cooking necessary
- To support the change of coat

Offer approx. 10-20 g per 100 kg body weight and day mixed with the manger feed or Irish Mash.
Note: If necessary, double the amount can be given temporarily.
1 measuring cup corresponds to approx. 110 g
Application for the stomach: Pour hot water (approx. 80°C) over LinuStar and leave to swell for approx. 25 minutes. The formation of mucus is immediately visible. Now feed together with the manger feed or in Irish Mash. The mucilage forms a protective film on the stomach lining.
Intestinal application: Simply mix LinuStar dry into the manger feed. The linseed then swells during digestion and the mucilage is available to the intestines.
