Product information "St.Hippolyt Brandon XP 20kg"
Increased performance requirements
Brandon® xp is an energy-rich muesli for sport horses or horses with intensive performance requirements. A special millet processing method (lactofermentation) makes a large proportion of the starch it contains resistant to the small intestine (ß-glycosidic binding) and stimulates the formation of energy-rich, short-chain fatty acids in the large intestine. This means a steady supply of energy without high blood sugar fluctuations. As a result, the insulin response is also more moderate than with conventional cereal-based concentrates. The low-glycaemic feed ensures improved stress tolerance in sport horses as well as lower muscle lactate formation and reduced heat and sweat production. Brandon® xp also contains high-fat ingredients (oilseeds) and additional energy sources that are digestible in the large intestine.
- For horses with increased performance requirements
- As a build-up feed
- As a follow-on feed after or as a combination feed with Brandon® xl for horses that no longer require grain-free feeding

0.5-0.75 kg per 100 kg body weight per day, divided into at least 3 portions. Hay ad libitum or as directed by the vet.
1 litre corresponds to approx. 420 g
This supplementary feed may only be fed to horses up to 50 % of the daily ration (including hay) due to the higher content of vitamins and trace elements compared to complete feed.
Please adhere to the feeding recommendations.
For older horses, hasty eaters or horses with dental, chewing or gullet problems, we recommend enriching muesli with water or switching from muesli to pelleted feed, soaking it in sufficient water and feeding it as mash.
Please pay attention to your horse's fluid intake.
