As a supplement to the basic supply of mare's milk, roughage and/or pasture grass, we recommend per day for foals with a final weight of approx. 600 kg (spread over several rations):
- from the 3rd week of life until the 3rd month: Fohlengold® for free intake (max. 600 g/day)
- from the 4th month: approx. 600 g
- from the 5th month: approx. 1 kg
- from the 6th month: approx. 1.4 kg
- from the 7th month: approx. 1.7 kg
- from the 12th month: approx. 2 kg
- from 18 months (from 24 months for late-developed horses): Hesta Mix®, Struktur-Energetikum® or Struktur-E® grain-free
Heavy-feeding foals: additionally linseed oil and/or GlyxWiese® Heucobs/Wiesentaler. Light-feeding foals: 50 % Fohlengold® or Equigard® (in case of grain intolerance) supplemented with vegetable-herb minerals.
1 litre corresponds to approx. 800 g
This supplementary feed may only be fed to horses up to 38.3 % of the daily ration (including hay) due to the higher content of vitamins and trace elements compared to complete feed.
Please adhere to the feeding recommendations.
For older horses, hasty eaters or horses with dental, chewing or gullet problems, we recommend enriching muesli with water or switching from muesli to pelleted feed, soaking it in sufficient water and feeding it as mash.
Please pay attention to your horse's fluid intake.
