A valuable natural source of protein
GlyxWiese® BIO is the latest addition to our GlyxWiese® range – in certified organic quality. Carefully selected ingredients such as green oats, lucerne and sainfoin provide high-quality forage or a fibre-rich supplement to stable feed. As they contain no cereals or additives, and thanks to the varied blends of the individual ingredients, GlyxWiese® BIO products are suitable for all types of horse.
High-quality roughage of impeccable hygienic standard is not only the basis of a horse’s diet, but also the perfect complement to any feed ration. Whether for sport horses, leisure horses, breeding stock, young horses, senior horses or as ‘standing feed’ – the right roughage supplement is essential.
GlyxWiese® BIO alfalfa cobs consist of 100% whole alfalfa plants of pure organic quality. Suitable for all types of horse, they are a particularly valuable source of protein for sport horses. They act as a balancer for grain-rich concentrated feed rations to regulate the calcium-phosphorus ratio. Thanks to their optimised fibre length, our GlyxWiese® Organic Alfalfa Cobs are ideally suited to horses with stomach problems. Leisure horses and senior horses that are fussy eaters also benefit from the balanced amino acid profile of alfalfa.

As a supplement to an appropriate basic diet of roughage and/or pasture grass, a daily intake of approximately 150–400 g per 100 kg of body weight is recommended.
Soak 1 kg of GlyxWiese® Organic Alfalfa Cobs in 1.5–3 litres of water.
A maximum of 2 kg (dry weight) per meal – always soak it first to be on the safe side!
