To supplement the basic feed ration of roughage and/or pasture grass. From a quantity of approximately 500–800 g per 100 kg of body weight per day, no additional mineral feed is required. The total amount should be divided into several feedings. If the dosage is lower or there are nutritional deficiencies, we recommend adding a mineral supplement.
1 litre corresponds to approx. 550 g
Due to its higher content of vitamins and trace elements compared to complete feeds, this supplementary feed must only be fed to horses up to 53.3 per cent of their daily ration (including hay). Please adhere to the feeding recommendations.
For older horses, fast eaters or horses with dental, chewing or swallowing problems, we recommend mixing the muesli with water or switching from muesli to pelleted feed, soaking this in sufficient water and feeding it as a mash. Please monitor your horse’s fluid intake.
