Starhorse Arthro-Med supports joints, tendons, ligaments and cartilage with valuable glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) obtained from the New Zealand green-lipped mussel. The body produces and forms its own glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) to ensure the elasticity of the musculoskeletal system. GAGs are naturally absorbed by connective tissue and articular cartilage and released again under heavy strain or pressure. The need for glycosaminoglycans increases in growing foals, heavily stressed sport horses and older horses. The body is often no longer able to cover this requirement in full. This results in signs of degeneration of the musculoskeletal system such as cartilage or joint damage, joint inflammation and tendonitis. Starhorse Arthro-Med contains all the important basic substances for joint cartilage, tendons, ligaments and synovial fluid and provides the horse with valuable vitamins to promote ideal absorption in the organism. The product has been given a delicious apple-pear flavour for better acceptance. The powder form makes Starhorse Arthro-Med very easy to feed.
Quality note:
GAGs can only be effective as pure mussel extract. Products consisting only of mussel powder have hardly any effect and are therefore cheap but not effective. Starhorse Arthro-Med therefore only contains pure mussel extract.

Billigrohstoffe von sogenannten Ost-Anbietern (starke Umweltbelastung, Keimbelastung, usw.) oder aus China finden bei uns absolut keine Verwendung, da deren Qualität sehr gering ist und vom Organismus des Pferdes kaum bzw. nur sehr schwer aufgenommen werden können. Des Weiteren können durch Keimbelastung, sowie durch die enthaltenen toxischen (giftigen) Stoffe, wie z.B. Schwermetalle und Umweltgifte, gesundheitliche Probleme auftreten.
