Starhorse MSM-GAG Liquid can be used as a supportive treatment for signs of wear and tear of the musculoskeletal system and for arthrosis. MSM (methyl sulphonyl methane) is an organically bound sulphur that supports the formation of joint fluid and is involved in the production of collagen, which is essential for the formation and strength of connective tissue. MSM is also responsible for improved nutrient absorption (minerals, vitamins, trace elements) in the cells and ensures the removal of "waste products" from the cells. Glucosamines are bioavailable amino sugars and are largely responsible for the body's own production of glycosaminoglycans and proteoglycans. These ensure the healthy development of cartilage, tendons and joint capsules. GAGs ensure adequate lubrication of the joints so that they remain elastic and protected from severe wear and tear and inflammation in the joint area.

Unlike many products on the market, MSM-GAG Liquid is guaranteed not to contain inferior mussel powder with a low GAG content. The GAGs contained in MSM-GAG Liquid originate exclusively from high-quality GAG extract. Bereits bei der Auswahl der von uns verwendeten Rohstoffe beginnt die Qualitätskontrolle. Billigrohstoffe von sogenannten Ost-Anbietern (starke Umweltbelastung, Keimbelastung, usw.) oder aus China finden bei uns absolut keine Verwendung, da deren Qualität sehr gering ist und vom Organismus des Pferdes kaum bzw. nur sehr schwer aufgenommen werden können. Des Weiteren können durch Keimbelastung, sowie durch die enthaltenen toxischen (giftigen) Stoffe, wie z.B. Schwermetalle und Umweltgifte, gesundheitliche Probleme auftreten.
