Starhorse Devil's Claw ground can provide positive support for musculoskeletal complaints (e.g. arthrosis) and have an anti-inflammatory effect. Devil's claw (lat. Harpagophytum procumbens) has its origins in Namibia and in South and East Africa. This special root is said to have anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties.
Quality note:
Only the air-dried root is used for Starhorse Devil's Claw, which retains all its active ingredients thanks to the gentle, slow drying process. Products that are dried by machine are cheaper to produce, but lose a large proportion of their active ingredients due to the high temperature generated during drying.
What else you should know:
It is generally advisable not to feed devil's claw for longer than approx. 2.5 months, as otherwise stomach problems may occur. Furthermore, devil's claw should not be fed to pregnant mares as it stimulates the uterine muscles. The use of devil's claw is also strongly discouraged in horses with suspected stomach ulcers.
Important note for competition horse owners:
Devil's claw contains natural active ingredients which may not be fed to sport horses in accordance with the anti-doping law (anti-inflammatory, analgesic).

Bereits bei der Auswahl der von uns verwendeten Rohstoffe beginnt die Qualitätskontrolle. Billigrohstoffe von sogenannten Ost-Anbietern (starke Umweltbelastung, Keimbelastung, usw.) oder aus China finden bei uns absolut keine Verwendung, da deren Qualität sehr gering ist und vom Organismus des Pferdes kaum bzw. nur sehr schwer aufgenommen werden können. Des Weiteren können durch Keimbelastung, sowie durch die enthaltenen toxischen (giftigen) Stoffe, wie z.B. Schwermetalle und Umweltgifte, gesundheitliche Probleme auftreten.
Eines der wichtigsten Qualitätsmerkmale aller Starhorse Pro-dukte liegt vor allem darin, dass wir ausschließlich Rohstoffe in geprüfter Lebensmittelqualität verarbeiten, welche automatisch eine bestmögliche Bioverfügbarkeit garantieren.
