Stiefel RP1 Insect Stop is a highly effective insect repellent with active tick and insect protection in accordance with biocide regulations. The active ingredient Saltidin® (Icaridin) is almost odourless for us humans and does not bother humans or horses with an unpleasant odour. Insects, on the other hand, perceive odours and are deterred by the repellent.
When Stiefel RP1 Insect Stop is applied to the coat, the volatile properties of the active ingredient create a thin, protective cloud of odour that can last for several hours. In addition, the active ingredient Icaridin® is very well tolerated by the skin and is therefore also suitable for riders.
For the correct application of repellents, it is very important to apply them correctly and over the entire area: the combination of spray and gel achieves maximum effectiveness with minimum consumption. The spray is used for large areas, while the gel is used for targeted application under the belly and for sensitive areas on the head.

Spray sparingly onto the coat from a distance of approx. 25 cm, covering the entire surface as required. The combination with RP1 Gel for the head, chest and belly is recommended. The RP1 Gel can generally be used as an alternative for horses that are sensitive to noise. Avoid sensitive areas of the body (eyes, ears, nostrils and mucous membranes).
Notes: Use biocides with care. Always read the label and product information before use. Keep container tightly closed. Keep away from small children. Do not use under the saddle or clothing. Do not spray damaged skin areas. Use only in well ventilated areas, do not inhale spray mist. If swallowed, seek medical advice, show package and label. For external use only.
