Supplementary feed for horses - "natural digestive regulator"
Psyllium, which originates from India, was already known to cure gastrointestinal complaints more than 2000 years ago. The high fibre content of psyllium and its highly alkaline properties can have a cleansing effect on the intestines and help to regulate the acid-base balance in the horse's organism. Due to the valuable mucilage and the enormous swelling capacity, it is important to ensure that the horse has a sufficient water supply.
100% psyllium husks
for 600kg horse per day: 50g in 1 litre (if possible warm) water, leave to swell for at least 1 hour.
One heaped tablespoon corresponds to approx. 12g
