Hot mash has a long tradition in the history of animal feeding!
At top Mash, we deliberately avoid using crushed grains and use only hydrothermally treated cereal flakes to achieve maximum digestibility whilst ensuring the mixture is gentle on the stomach. top Mash is ideal as a first, light meal after surgery, on rest days, during convalescence or after strenuous training. It provides a quick source of energy without putting a strain on the body. Mucilage-forming substances are provided by ground extracted linseed, which can offer beneficial support to the heavily stressed gastrointestinal tract. top Mash is particularly suitable for feeding following colic or in cases of irritation or irregularities in the digestive system. Boiling is no longer necessary, as the hydrocyanic acid contained in the linseed has already been completely destroyed. top Mash can be used immediately as a ready-to-use mixture. As it is completely dust-free, our top Mash is also ideally suited for horses with allergies. top Mash is rich in minerals, vitamins and trace elements to prevent nutritional deficiencies. A small amount of molasses has been added as a flavour enhancer. We recommend feeding top Mash 1–3 times a week – prepared with warm or cold water.
