EquiVita is a vitamin B concentrate as a supplement in addition to the appropriate mineral and amino acid supplements. To support intestinal flora disorders and their consequences such as faecal water, flatulence, diarrhoea, poor horn quality and/or lamellar connection in the hoof, white line disease, lack of muscle development, "KPU" symptoms etc.
A healthy intestinal flora produces vitamin B6 and biotin, among other things. Impaired intestinal flora also leads to reduced zinc absorption or severe zinc and manganese losses as well as increased magnesium requirements.
Vitamin B6 is involved in countless biochemical reactions in the body. For example, it is a key factor in
- enzymatic digestion
- the conversion of methionine into cysteine (-> hoof horn, skin and mucous membrane regeneration)
- the formation of vitamin B3 and serotonin from tryptophan
- the formation of haemoglobin
- the formation of gammalinolenic acid (-> formation of healthy skin and PGE1)
- the detoxification function of the liver
Biotin is primarily known for supporting horn quality, but is also necessary for the function of numerous enzymes important in protein, fat and carbohydrate metabolism and for the immune system.
Zinc is also a component of a large number of enzymes that play key roles in sugar, fat and protein metabolism. Both the immune system and many hormones require zinc for their function. The hoof horn becomes brittle with zinc deficiency.

Wild Horse Mineral- & Aminosäurenergänzer
Der Wild Horse Mineral- und Aminosäurenergänzer enthält sowohl lebenswichtige Mineralstoffe und Spurenelemente als auch essentielle Aminosäuren für Muskelaufbau, Hufwachstum und Regeneration aller Gewebe. Er empfiehlt sich bei Heufütterung als ständige Ergänzung. Bei Weide wird eine geringere Menge benötigt. Die schmackhaften Pellets werden häufig pur verzehrt, sonst mit etwas Kraftfutter mischen. Bei besonders futterkritischen Pferden über 1-2 Wochen langsam eingewöhnen.
Getreidefrei, zuckerarm, hoher Gehalt an Magnesium und Mangan, daher auch besonders gut für EMS und PSSM Pferde geeignet. Die Spurenelemente liegen großteils in optimal verfügbarer organischer Form vor. Bei Hufproblemen empfiehlt sich die Kombination mit Equivita, unserem hochdosierten Vitamin B und Biotin-Ergänzer.
