Introducing Agrobs® GmbH:

Agrobs® is one of the most renowned manufacturers of high-quality roughage for horses, pets, tortoises and camelids.

Agrobs® is as Bavarian as the Rauscherhof farm in Degerndorf, where the company has its roots. The Berger family has been at home here since the 16th century. From the farm, the Bergers began producing organically grown horse hay in 1983 and founded Agrobs® GmbH in 1993.

The flourishing family business now employs around 100 people and was only able to expand the site by two production halls in 2016. Natural, Bavarian and species-appropriate is the motto for feed production, because the health of the animals is the top priority. "Our feed gives the animals the opportunity to enjoy the original plant diversity that can only be found in the Alpine foothills," say Managing Directors Florian and Simon Berger.

Camelids such as llamas and alpacas, originally at home in South America, are now also widespread in our climes. Mainly kept as pack animals and suppliers of wool in their homeland, more and more hobby pet owners are also enjoying this species here.
